Bricks for Tomorrow: Dining, Science, and Technology Hub

At Divine Mercy Secondary School (DMSS), we believe in building brighter futures by equipping young minds with the resources they need to succeed. Since 2009, Divine Mercy Academy has stood as a beacon of hope, providing quality education and support to students from high-poverty backgrounds. We are a thriving community focused on student achievement, offering personalized academic support, counseling, and extracurricular activities to help each student reach their full potential.

In recent years, we’ve expanded our facilities to serve more students, including:

A large girls’ dormitory for 490 students
A boys’ dormitory housing 360 students
Campus safety improvements, including a perimeter wall, security stations, and fire-safe kitchen upgrades
Increased scholarship opportunities for academically talented students
Enhanced landscaping and a clean water supply
These advancements have helped us grow to a capacity of 1,000 students, with 40% receiving partial or full scholarships. As we continue to evolve, we are excited to announce our latest initiative: the construction of a multistory building that will transform our campus and elevate the learning experience.

The new building will feature:

A multipurpose hall serving as a dining area, chapel, and exam hall
A state-of-the-art science laboratory
A modern computer laboratory
This facility will become a hub of innovation, empowering students with access to hands-on science and technology education.

Thanks to a generous donation of $147,000, we are set to begin construction on the multipurpose hall in November 2024. However, we need your support to raise the remaining $150,000 to complete the science and computer laboratories.

Your contribution will help us bring this vision to life and provide our students with the tools they need to thrive in the 21st century. Together, we can continue our mission of transforming lives through education.

Donate today to support our “Bricks for Tomorrow” campaign and help shape a brighter future for the students of Divine Mercy Secondary School.
